Senior Software Engineer at Apple
I build the tools behind the tools: developer infrastructure at Apple scale by day, always cooking up something by night.
The short version
I'm a senior engineer at Apple, where I've spent the last several years building developer tools. I prototyped what became Xcode's intelligence features and was a lead engineer on Device Hub, which started as an internal Apple tool and now ships with Xcode to developers everywhere.
Outside of work, I'm always cooking up something. My iOS apps have been downloaded more than three million times, and these days my side projects orbit AI agents and developer tooling. I studied computer science and physics, and it shows: I like systems that are both correct and elegant.

Where I've been
Apple
Senior Software Engineer
- Catalyzed Xcode's new intelligence features: proposed the vision, secured leadership buy-in, and built the initial prototypes that proved feasibility, prompting formation of a dedicated team that carried the work through to launch.
- Lead engineer on Device Hub, the home for working with devices and simulators in Xcode. It began as an internal Apple tool and now ships publicly alongside Xcode; I introduced it at WWDC.
- Promoted twice in three years.
Apple
Test & Automation Engineer
- Owned quality for Xcode's debugging stack, leading a from-scratch build of a hardware testbed, automation pipelines, and an analysis & visualization front end.
- Orchestrated, graded, and presented results for thousands of simulated debugging tasks across varied configurations.
Nanotube
Creator of Popular iOS Applications
- Designed, developed, and marketed popular iOS apps as a one-person studio.
- Carbon (MTG Utility): 350,000+ downloads, 3,500+ reviews, 4.9-star average.
- Chooser!: 3,300,000+ downloads, 66,000+ reviews, 4.6-star average.
Delwiche Labs
Bioinformatics Researcher & Developer
- Built Python ML pipelines to analyze 10 TB of gene-expression data; developed custom clustering methods that surfaced 400+ novel gene candidates.
- Created an AR analysis app with ARKit and Swift rendering 80,000 data points in 3D at 60fps for interactive spatial exploration.
